Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Import and Export Corporation (THMC) was established in 1986 and is a state-owned Import/Export Corporation, having a staff member of 35 persons, registered capital of RMB10,000,000. Mother-enterprise is the famous Heavy Machinery Manufacturer, National Extra-large backbone enterprise--Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group (TZ).

TZ is the largest crane equipment manufacturing base, the largest excavator equipment manufacturing base, the largest space launching installation manufacturing base, the large rolling mill manufacturing base, the largest leveller manufacturing base, the large multi function Rotary Stage manufacturing base, the sole tube mill appointed manufacturing base, the sole railway wheel-pair manufacturing base and most complete varieties forging equipment manufacturing base of China.

TZ has its own National Product Research and Development Center, physical and chemical examination center, having complete production examining method, and passed the ISO9001 quality system qualification.

THMC is the TZ's foreign trade window, depend on its strong design and manufacturing ability, Hydropower Station Crane, Metallurgical Crane, Mine-use Excavator, Leveller, Light metal alloy Extrusion Press etc. mechanism have been exported for several tens sets to world-wide many countries.

Train wheel, train axle and large sizes oil film bearings are the most competitive products of TZ exported, and also the superior exported products of our corporation. In recent years have been exported to America, Europe, South-east Asia, Middle-east etc. more than 10 countries and area.

Magnesium products are also the main exported product of our corporation. China is one of the world main magnesium product export country, and Shanxi is the largest Chinese magnesium product manufacturing base, the magnesium products quality of Shanxi is stable and having a stronger price competition. Our corporation is located in Taiyuan, Shanxi and in the meantime had also cooperative established its own magnesium product manufacturing base. In recent years, our  magnesium product year export capacity is more than 3000t.

Our other exported products are: casting aluminum-alloy wheel, flanges, rolls for various rolling mill etc.

THMC is the sole agent of MAGNEMAG A/S, Denmark in China, and MAGNEMAG is a special company in manufacturing of metallurgy spray printing/marking equipments and famous in the international market. At present, Baoshan Steel, Anshan Steel, Jiuquan Steel, Maanshan Steel, Wuhan Steel, Ji-nan Steel etc. large steel works have selective used our spray printing equipment for more than 20sets, and THMC becomes to this sort equipments main domestic supplier.
