1. Summarize
The application of
Middle-Wide steel strip width from 350mm to 800mm has
been increasingly wide and deep in recent, there has
been active demand in the market. In order to obtain the
strip within the range of
sizes, to divide wide strip (width from 1000mm to
2000m) with lengthwise cutting is adopted as universal
method, it brings production cost and processing fee
increased to users, as well as deficiency in strip
thickness deviation.
Middle-wide hot strip
mill type 750mm and 950mm are new technically products
for rolling middle-wide steel strip, to compare with
traditional wide strip mills, they have many advantages
such as low investment, strip dividing cost saving;
simple device for supplying
steel billet (square billet or slab); narrow
plate, plate shape control simply, small deviation in
thickness; the strip edges are formed in circular arc,
edge bevelling is unnecessary. The middle-wide hot strip
rolling mill has a good market prospect.
